This week's Kiss - after a lush track (Jerome Sydenham - No Light) here are the words you never ever wanted JD to say:

"up next this is a new track Fergie ... he's putting out some really good music" ...

WTF ... next it'll be Judge Jules !

Actually, while the Fergie track isn't my cup of mocha it's not that bad.

Re: Digweed (nearly) loses all respect !

so really what your saying is that the fergie track isn't bad, but john shouldn't have complimented him about his recent productions? ;)

I actually don't mind Fergie, the Judge on the other hand. So Si, I take it you don't frequent Eden on Judment Sundays. :D

Re: Digweed (nearly) loses all respect !

fergie used to play some bangin' hard house, but i heard a recent set of his and it sounds more like tamed progressive. like some strange mauro picotto/quivver mashup stuff.

Re: Digweed (nearly) loses all respect !

Fergie has grown up loads musically since his HH days. Saw a few of his techno sets at gods kitchen around 2002 times which i really enjoyed, and now he's gone even deeper into the tech house territory.

No way ... I have to hear this for myself, Fergie on Transitions?! Guess he'll be getting a guest mix next.

Re: Digweed (nearly) loses all respect !

Thanx for the link to Fergie's latest mix. I am not embarrassed to admit that I am a Fergie fan. Leaving Radio 1 was the most likely the best thing for him. His lastest releases have been getting better and better. I'd say Excentric is a label to keep an eye on.

Re: Digweed (nearly) loses all respect !

From what I remember of Fergie's Radio 1 shows at least toward the end, I can remember hearing a lot of techno styled music, he's heading in a direction similar to Dubfire, building up his underground cred.

Re: Digweed (nearly) loses all respect !

A couple of the tunes on this weeks mix have to be the worst tunes I have ever heard him play on the show. :what Not sure if it was the Fergie one or not tbh, they were both pretty late on. I really hope they dont make an appearance at Bedrock... :|

Right after Fergie's tune if I'm not wrong ... should've come with an epilepsy warning. Those stabs were fucking painful on the ears :evil:
