OK, we're getting ready to head down to Los Cabos in a couple of weeks, and my wife has determined that my feet have reached a stage of ugliness and general fucked-upedness that she's insisting I get a pedicure before heading down there. Anyone dudes ever get that done before? Worthwhile endeavor?

Frankly, I'm not eager to foist my utterly funky feet upon some unfortunate soul, but I'm kinda assuming they've seen it all. Is that a fair assumption? Not sure how I'd feel if I kicked off my shoes in front of someone that deals with nothing but feet only to have her go "WHOA NELLY" or something.

hahaha, I've never had a pedicure or manicure for that matter. But I do get compliments on my feet from people. Just wash them when you shower. and trim the nails. Basic "manly" grooming is all one needs.

i will admit it, i have had pedicures before, nothing wrong with it. it actually feels really good.

clip your toe nails, clean up around the toes, scrub down your feet and then a nice little foot message at the end. nothing metro about it, it is more about hygiene than anything.

:D This is hilarious!!

  1. Soak your feet in the tub in warm soapy water for about 7-10 minutes. The longer you let them soak the easier everything is to do.
  2. Cut your toenails
  3. Use the flat side of an orange stick (at drugstore) to push back your cuticles and to scrape it from the nail. Use the other end to clean under your nails. It's really easy to do!
  4. Scrub your feet with a foot file or pumice stone (at drugstore) to remove dead skin. I find the foot file better. Scrub your heel, big toe, the tips of your toes and wherever else there is callous. my ex gave me a pedicure once. she had them done every other week or so so she knew how to do it. that was about as far as i would ever go with a pedicure though, i kinda feel the same as toasty about letting a stranger clean my feet. however, i do trim my toenails about every two weeks and i do wash them in the shower so they aren't maingy or anything. first it's a pedicure, next it's a colon cleanse. you gotta set boundaries with your better half dude.

I don't want a pedicure. Not cause its unmanly, or gay or whatever. I can just think of about hundred better ways to spend an hour "relaxing" than paying a lady $25 to scrub dead skin off my feet.

But speaking of grooming, have any of you guys ever been shaved by a barber? IF I were to spend an hour on grooming, this is something I have always wanted to try.
