I'm going to have to say I liked it a lot. A little better then Seaman's and definetely on par with Craig Richards' Mix. Desyn has just been blowing me away more and more, 2 kiss mixes this year and an Emix, not to mention the fantastic live performanc he gave here in Denver, made Digweed look like an amatuer IMO. For me, 2004 Emixes has looked like this:

1- Craig Richards and Desyn Masiello (Tied for now) 2- Dave Seaman 3- Paolo Mojo 4- Behrous 5- Infusion 6- Stanton Warriors

Too bad the rest of the mixes this year have been trash.

i'm just about to hear it. i cut it up last night, to my liking. :lol: report to follow.

I llked it too. First part was dark which I love and then it rolled into brighter tunes. His Original Series disc sounds very good as well, on par with the last half of this mix.

I dunno, I will need to listen to this mix again, and also Craig's mix. But I think this is going to be the best Emix of 2004. Desyn just frickin' roxx.

too much electro / disco stuff...! i prefer his cd, kiss mix and defo his old sets, especialli sofia!

i havent had the chance to listen to it yet..maybe it could go up as a special?!?!?! anyways desyn is pretty choosy with his toons and there hasn't been a set of his which i haven't liked so far...hope this one doesn't disapoint!

with only 15 minutes remaining....i gotta say i really enjoyed it. nothing earth shattering, but very good. cannot wait to put os_0.1 into my ears!

So far it's a serious contender for emix of the year for me (right with Craig Richards). I totallt dig the first electroey part 8) but had a feelin that this mix was a bit flat (tempo thing i mean). Few jockz spin house nowadyas like Desyn does :Bingo:

I enjoyed it. It wasn't very creative. Just solid tunes and mixing.

Not heard it yet, but got his Kiss mix which was awesome, and just bought his Bedrock OS1 as a result of that.

Will check out the emix over the next day or so. Got high hopes for it.

I loved Infusion, Seaman & Zabiela but all 2004 EM for so far get pwned so much by Desyn :RockOn: Definately gonna spread the word around me on this one .... best thing I've heard for a while :LoveYou:

I will agree about the too much electro comment.

As my previous posts have stated, I liked Behrouz's set best so far this year. I thought that Desyn's set would be right there with Behrouz but it wasn't for me. Behrouz has one thing a lot of these mixes don't have and that is mellody.

Where is the mellody!!??

I really dig everything Desyn has put out lately. And holy shit is there ever a lot out there. A Kiss FM, a XM Satellite Radio mis, an Essential Mix and his OS1. Putting out that much music in such a small amount of time takes a lot of balls. Of course its great promo for his disc, but how many out there have that much great music to unload all at once. Not too many I bet. Two big thumbs up to Desyn, he's definitely on top of his game right now.

The only problem I've found with his Kiss & Essential mixes are that I like them better than his CD I had such high expectations after being blown away by these radio mixes that I found the CD to be a bit of a let down, it didn't do enough and was too techy

I liked it a lot but still have to rate Behrouz and Craig Richards ahead of it.

Just listen to it and agreed it's denefinitely a contendor for emix of the year but my vote still goes to Zabiela.
