^ you mean, "how fucking important school is." If you'd done well in school, you'd realize that "fuckin school" isn't very important for more people. :)

Today's lottery numbers.

I agree with the school thing. If there's one thing I've learned though it's that it's never too late. I graduated from high school a bit younger than everyone else in my class and went from a small, rural town to the University of Florida. What a wake up call! Freedom was in my midst and I abused it. I'm now almost 27 and after taking some time off from education (about 5 years) I'm back, full-time, and ready to finish!

The other important thing I wish I'd known is not to sulk over each of the skanks that I was determined was "the one".

Re: What do you wish you'd known when you were younger?

  1. Not to waste three years + on my ho ass slut of an ex girlfriend
  2. To have thought more about college (where, what I want, what to study etc) before hand.
  3. Putting a little effort into school goes a long way
  4. how to stay in better shape/eat right ( I know now, but it's alot easier if you start young)
  5. To really try and learn music theory/piano.

Re: What do you wish you'd known when you were younger?

Don't fuck up your credit! It really does help to have a good rating so you can:

  1. Buy a house later in life and build equity instead of throwing money away on rent every month

  2. Get SBA loans and grants from the government to start your own biz

That I would be highly interested in making music so I would have stuck with my piano lessons and music classes.

As they say...hindsight is 20/20. Who knows maybe if I would have known those things I wouldn't be the same person I am today or be where I am at which is to say not such an unpleasant spot.

Re: What do you wish you'd known when you were younger?

i would have weeded moms flower beds, washed the cars, mowed more lawns, ect. to buy more of those now cherished old records.i also wish i had learned to play the piano back then, its tougher now.

To invest the money I made when I was younger rather than blowing it on a car. Also although I still consider myself ahead of the game I wish I would have bought a house when I was younger.

Tip to all that think they can't buy a house: Take the first step go and apply for the loan it'll maybe cost you 25 dollars and you might be surprised at what you can actually afford.

I thought I wasn't making enough money to buy a house when I was younger when I actually was and as a result I've lost ~100k in what I could have gained in equity. Hind sight is 20/20!

i wish i wasnt soo stupid when i was younger, and rebelious and thinkin my parents didnt give two shits about me..

u never realize this until shit hits the fan and u know ur parents will always be there to bail u out of money problems or shit like that..

thats one thing that i think ill teach my kids when i have them... is that ill always be there for them.. becuase lets face it.. at one point in our lives we think we have no one..

More true words have never been spoken. Sometimes I wish I could take back every bad thing I ever said/did against my parents, but then I remember that those are the things that help make me who I am today.

#274223Post 25 of 26

I wish I wasn?t so stupid... jajajaj... and discover great thing about me earlier... it sound as ego, but it?s deep...

#274252Post 26 of 26

The one thing I wished I was when I was younger was to be more outspoken and confident. You get yourself screwed over if you don't speak up for what you believe in and don't second guess yourself and never sell yourself short. Other than that I wouldn't change anything. I'm pretty happy with my life thus far.
