fuck you diddy. my respect for the martinez bros. claude and angello have dropped. Diddy has done nothing but disrespect house music, and anytime he gets involved is to capitalize on it without giving back.

well! day 1 & 2 recap...

Tues morning 8am...flight to miami from baltimore was canceled (thanks air-tran) leave airport 3 hours later and have to fly n2 ft. lauderdale and then after a $100 (including tip) cab ride later we finally arrive. Tues nite we wanted to hear our friend and baltimore native, charles feelgood. he was spinning n downtown miami at blue martini. we get there and find out he doesn't hit the decks til 4am. we got there around 9 and were drunk by 11 and home and n bed by midnight, lol! so much for day 1

wed...okay, finally made it 2 a real party. hit up the shelborne hotel for the Sex on Wax vs Canada loves Miami. Minus the complete unorganization of getting n2 the party. it was a blast with only 1 low point. luke fair, the main reason we went, got kicked off the decks after only 35 min and replaced by DJ Sneak because of some mix up inside. Of the 35 mins, Mr. Fair, spun his usual groovy, funky house music that i've come to expect from him. Following DJ Sneaks horrible display of dj'ing and just about killing the vibe of the party, Jody Wisternoff came to the rescue. It was the first time I've heard him live and he didn't disappoint. Had been introduced to him from my friends north of the border and knew i was in for a good ride. didn't recognize any of the tracks, just that he got the place jumpin! after about an hour, Tom Morgan stepped up to the decks. kind of brought it down a notch, IMO, but not in a bad way. another first for me. enjoyed the hour he played. next and final set for me of the afternoon was Omid and Desyn tagteaming. again, no disappointment. great set! nice flow! kept the crowd going, couldn't have asked for more, other then for Luke to have gotten back up ;)

now resting up for Sasha's Involver II release party at Mynt. I'll update tomorrow...

the want tickets booth/store is a nightmare, do not get tickets for pickup at their location, get it will called at the venue!!!! the line is hours long all day. this will definitely not be back next year

Caught Danny Howells last night at Set. Usual good stuff from Danny where in his extended sets starts low and builds his set throughout the night.

Just got back from the Surfcomber pool party. Great party. Saw Steve Bug and Loco Dice tear it up. Had to leave early to pickup S&D tixs for later and missed Hawtin and Dubfire. Thanks wantickets. Yes, avoid the wantickets pickup and do will call. I was in line for an hour plus. Only thing nice was the hot women in line and walking by to entertain us.

About to head out to the Sasha & Digweed show.

The "Involver 2" Global Underground with Sasha and Nick Warren was nothing short of incredible. No cover, open bar til midnight. The crowd, club, vibe, and music were all top notch. Nick Warren opened things up with some groovy, sexy house. Spun til about 1am and then Sasha took the decks. Keep in mind, Mynt, has absolutely no dance floor. VIP/Bottle Service rains supreme at this place. Bar on the right, tables down the middle and left wall. The DJ booth at the far end of the club, was raised and boxed in on the left and right by TV screens playing shades of color.

Sasha came out of the gates firing and didn't let up for the entire 2 hours he spun. Didn't recognized any tracks. He took entire room for a whirlwind. Words could never express the intimate feeling the five of us left with that night. Everything was pretty much perfect. So Nick spun 10-1 and then abruptly took over for Sasha around 3am.

We stayed for a few of Nick's tracks, but felt we should just leave Mynt on a perfect note, not in anyway taking anything away from Nick. His opening set was priceless and just right for the occasion, we headed to "the pawn shop" for some good ol' fashioned DT...

It sends shivers down my spine at this time of year thinking about the time I spent out there with you guys two years ago. Every other email I recieve at the moment is promoting some damn party in a hotel I know only too well... fucks me off to be honest!

how much do u think it will cost to come over for Aus?? I would like to do it next year.. Maybe 3k for the flight and another 7-10k Aus dolars while i am there.. Gonna start saving for it for next year then
