Anyone see her...wow. I don't know how to describe what ever it is she just did, it was like watching a epileptic stick figure perform....but damn, it worked. Great performance.

Amy Wine house on the Grammys
Re: Amy Wine house on the Grammys
The Morris Day and the Time with Rhianna was pretty sick.
Real question is was that really Daft Punk with Kanye West I have a feeling it probably was not.
Re: Amy Wine house on the Grammys
Music is certainly art because my interpretation and opinion of wine's performance was...well I had to mute it, lol. my question is, never having heard her (intentionally) before, who goes and buys a winehouse album, whats the demographic?
Re: Amy Wine house on the Grammys
shes done lost her mine
Re: Amy Wine house on the Grammys
im sick of hearing about her in the news.
leave her alone and let her get over it / die (whichever.. im not bothered)
Re: Amy Wine house on the Grammys
Mark Ronson won producer of the year - which is well deserved in my opinion.

ditto that. album was great.
only thing i watched was the kanye west performance and it was pretty good. he sure does make some good tunes even though he is an asshole.
i heard most of it through the wall, sounded like a pretty good grammy's. had a lot of different genre's performing as well as some classic performances.
grammy's this year probably the best award-type show out there.

I wasn't knocking her with the thread, I was trying to convey that I was actually impressed...
The other person that really impressed me was Tina Tuner. She's close to seventy and was still getting jiggy with it on the stage. More impressive she was not even close to out of breath well into her second song after a massive dance number, unlike Beyonce.
Re: Amy Wine house on the Grammys
<3 Amy Winehouse....it took me a while to get into her, now I can't get enough...I am really glad she won as many awards as she did
I know she's sketchy at times and has her issues, but honestly, who in Hollywood doesn't anymore...doesn't phase me anymore. I just like what I like :)

Didn't catch the whole show but saw Tina Turners two numbers and she can still sing and dance around the stage. Was pretty impressed she still can hit those high notes after all these years. Its good to see the grammys still looking after the grannies of music!
Re: Amy Wine house on the Grammys
surprised so many of you watched it... i forgot/didn't care it was even on. it got some of the worst ratings in history, as well.
Re: Amy Wine house on the Grammys
you know she didnt attend the grammy's right.. it was a sat. feed because they wouldnt give her coke whore ass a visa..
lmao
Re: Amy Wine house on the Grammys
^^^good. I did hear she was in post rehab with her friends,,,the osbournes...LOL...now there's a show of a trainwreck.
Re: Amy Wine house on the Grammys
Having Herbie Hancock win album of year was a nice turn. I think the fact this was the 50th grammy awards allowed the award committee to take a few chances in relatonship to all the real artists that performed that night who make the new artist look like punk hacks. Tina Turner was great, she made Beyonce look like a step child; it was orginator v. imitator.

My grandma took me to a Tina Turner concert for my 10th birthday, it was my first concert and it was a blast, even though it was raining
Re: Amy Wine house on the Grammys
Yeah saw her in 87 and the show was mindblowing she is a real entertainer.
Re: Amy Wine house on the Grammys
The singer used her trademark black eyeliner to cover up a topless tattoo on her arm when she performed via satellite at the Grammys, it has been revealed.
Producers at the music ceremony, where Amy won five awards last week, were concerned by the graphic nature of one tattoo on her left arm which features a topless woman.
