Re: Something wrong with [MS]

Is it just me or is the board slow today. Taking ages to go from one thread to another - could be the shitty work server we got but all other web pages I have been to have been quick. Know most of you are in another time zone so not expecting too many answers right now

Poor attempt at humour to alleviate the intense boredom I feel at work at the moment!

I tried to reproduce what you reported but was not able to. After the 2nd PM there comes a system message saying "This forum requires that you wait 60 seconds between sending private messages. Please try again in 49 seconds." which is alright. Do you really still see a fucked up number?

Feeling a slight delay with page loads also.

And I don't know if it's just me, but the threads in promos and recommendations aren't indicating new posts. The + icons remains grey even for new threads, and from my user cp view, the forum icon doesn't indicate new posts either.

Re: Kiss 100 FM (Feb 03, 2008)

Ugh..last time somebody said this I tried it out with the Cattaneo mixes and the other Kiss100 mix and it worked like a charm but the mix from Feb 3 is fucked up somehow. More problems...great.

Re: Kiss 100 FM (Feb 03, 2008)

That was at least an easy problem.. the admin panel we use to host the mixes showed the uploaded date as 4-04-2008 05:24:49 so I guess this somehow brought trouble for the counter we use to limit the number of downloads per hour and is another result of the server crash we experienced. Feb 3 mixes are put online new and work now. Thanks for the headsup.

Re: Something wrong with [MS]

Seriously WTF. I cloned your account and do not get this error. The other errors reported I could always reproduce but not this one. :|
Oh and btw, the dreaded "too many users downloading right now" is back!
Now it should be really gone. When you said it, I tried with the Kiss100 mix from last week and 2 Cattaneo parts and they all worked so I thought you just had bad luck. After another member pointed out the problem with the Feb 3 mix I saw it's really another bug which is fixed now though. Thanks. We just love playing the unpayed cleaning women for shit happening beyond our control. I blame KinkyJ for the server crash with the amount of pics he posts daily.

Re: Downtime(s) site problems and mysterious posts from April this year....

Ok I just merged a few threads which all had the same cause of the problem. Please try to concentrate all reports in this thread so we can catch them better.

Here you go ... the forum remains in 'read' status to me all the time. Sub-forums seem to be fine though.

Re: Downtime(s) site problems and mysterious posts from April this year....

Did those and didn't help. I also tried logging in with IE (which I hardly ever use) and have the same problem. So it could be more of an account issue than browser. I'll pm you account info.

#969270Post 71 of 91

Re: Downtime(s) site problems and mysterious posts from April this year....

Yeah it is an account problem sadly just like we have one member with a unique search problem only he seems to have and Chanty has also an exclusive one..she can't write a PM without getting a weird message. We are stuck now and have to get support from the vbulletin guys. Worst case scenario would be to go back to a backup from 5 days ago if they can't help either...we' ll see.

Re: Downtime(s) and mysterious posts from April this year....
when i go to post in the forums, it keeps telling me that i have already posted today in that forum, and then i hit OK and it tells me to wait 15 seconds in between my posts on the same thread.
Is it still like this? That's also I something I can't reproduce. Can you post a screenhot of the 1st msg (not the 15 seconds headsup, this is normal after having submitted one post and trying directly again).

Your error has been fixed.....

Chunky, please PM me your user details.

Re: Downtime(s) site problems and mysterious posts from April this year....

Feather, if you see anything that's not right with your account info (sig, custom fields like interests etc.) please let me know. We had to take drastic measures (I won't go into details but you are now kind of reincarnated ;) ) to solve your problem and the same needs to be done with everybody else who has a "unique" problem.

Please everybody PM your login infos to Kamal and myself when you still have trouble with the site. We believe to see light at the end of the tunnel though.

So yeah..I am locked out of my user account. I had to register with a different username so I could send the admins a PM.
