Remember the MS T shirts?
What happened to the idea, did it just die a death?
IMO we should have some T shirts printed with the MS logo, could even price them a little higher than cost, help out with the monthly hosting charges.

there was talk about doing it before wmc in 2003. but the idea just faded away. the [ms] team obviously have their hands full with other bizzniss. besides, where would the funding for this come? i know i'd expect a freebie. :Naughty:

I brought up the idea to -e- recently. In his response, which I'm sure he'll reiterate shortly, he mentioned that the idea had been brought up in the past and that there were a few designs already. Unfortunately I think that the [ms] team was/is concerned with the business aspect of accepting money for merchandise (ie taxes, etc). I could be forgetting something as I just recently deleted the PM from my inbox.
i think it would be a good idea to help raise money to help maintain the site.
ie: proton radio's shirts.
i'd buy one. i need more shirts with logos that noone will understand

I don't want to be a walking advertisement, I think I'd just want some charcoal grey ringer tee or baseball tee with a small [ms] logo on the front and small [b][ms][/b] printed on the upper part of the back, near the neck. whether they are "selling" the shirts or taking donations, it still has the same effect no? WE know it isnt like they are trying to get rich off of it if they offer shirts. hmm, or are they? ;)

you skirts bailed last time.... someone said they were "gay" and it died. I made like 37 designs. I have massive workload right now but if someone wants to make them I'll probably get one.

I'm down with purchasing a t-shirt...so long it doesn't have the website address on it, etc.
it would really suck if 3DX hosting gives us a boot bc of the influx of hits and the draining of bandwidth.
Just imagine wearing the T-shirt out when running errands, etc and another fellow member comes us to say hi...that would be cool!

I honestly think this should go through in the future. How good would it be to be out and bump into someone with the same shirt. Great community building idea, although i don't really think i would be seeing many wearing in aus, id like to be proven wrong though. I'd pay for sure wither way.

@ Morgan (your PM) et all.... due to the legalities of certain issues, we are still evaluating the consequences / repercussions of implementing revenue generating options on the site.... thats one of the reasons that PayPal (DONATE) button came down quick as fuck.... a little bit of haste from my part was corrected....
but rest be assured, there's way more on the way..... and yes T-Shirts will be a big part of things to be.....

Good idea but don't get ur hopes on getting a t-shirt anytime soon. There is more important things to worry about then making t-shirts. The admin are to busy worring the forum stuff.
