Re: Hardfloor

Hardfloor is legendary esp. Acperience track and the Blue Monday and Yeke Yeke remixes they did back in the day. On Harthouse Records - partied with those guys in WMC in the mid 90's. Those boys liked and did alot of ya-yo. Kings of the 303 imho.

Re: Hardfloor

Hardfloor made some badass 303 style trance, before trance turned to shit. I own TB Resuscitation, one of their cd's. It's pretty rocking, but definitely sounds dated. Well is was released in 93, it should sound dated.

Re: Hardfloor

they started as psytrance - and as said above the Yeke Yeke remix is a classic of classics. Its on The Beach soundtrack, as well as 123 sasha live sets :)

Re: Hardfloor

They are still playing live in Germany sometimes. Great act to watch in a live PA. I would settle them somewhere between Acid and Techno these days (last time I have seen them is 2 years ago though).

Re: Hardfloor

acid doen't do them justice, even though they could fall under that category, it doens't hit the nail on the head. Maybe progressive. Not that labeling them is most important. The first time I plugged into them was an acspierence.

Re: Hardfloor

First time i saw them was in 1994. They played completely live with 4 303;s, a sequencer, a drum machine and some other odd bits of kit - complete blew me away. Me and 2 mates stood behind them for the whole set in absolute amazement. At the end of the set, my mate asked Ramon Zenker how they managed to get 303;s to make such amazing noises, he replied completely straight faced in broken english:

"I don;t know - there is a devil in the box."

The look on my mates face was priceless... :)

Top act with top tunes.
