I just got my gmail, pretty old news, ya i know, but i mean is pretty awesome having one gb, perhaps sending your favorite sets over email, or who knows, but well i wanna know what are the opions as far as gmail? for those who have one, and for those who don't(sorry i ran out of invitations by now) what do you think of that invitation required policy...

I think the invites system is a way of generating word of mouth, and small, staged, controlled growth. From a busness point of view it's also tops. People always want something they can't get, or something that is exclusive.

good for kiping big files, but I did'n manage do send a file bigger than 10Mb. does anyone know a free email server that supports to send files bigger than 10MB ?

It say`s i have 6 invites on my account but when i click the link nothing happens. Any ideas why?

Also ive never been able to import my addresss as that link doesn`t work either.

Have it, seems fast, but yahoo does it fine without it.

i like gmail, out of all the email programs i?ve tried it?s the best. a clean and well layed out interface, and just looks so damn sexy!

I?ve only used it twice as i have my own email server.

Once again i want to thank those who invited me!! I messed up, so no i have 2 invites that i dont even need..how do i give them to someone else?

It looks like there's no shortage of invites floating about - but if anyone still wants one, let me know!

i like gmail, it has a pretty good way of organizing the emails into "conversations" and the invite system is genious.

I think it's great, but I wonder if they missed the boat because so many people already have their emails set up with other places... Obviously lots of people will create accounts, but I know it won't be my main email cause I have been using hotmail for so long now it would be too big of a pain to switch...
