didnt realize it was this bad until last nite while checking leno, letterman and conan.

letterman still has his writers thanks to some kind of deal he pulled with them .. but conan was the worst ... lousy show .. bad jokes .. anyone saw them last nite ?

Re: writers strike

i heard leno was actually pretty funny but he "broke the rules"... fuck it, though. if those people really want to stay on strike, that is what is going to happen. stupid, i hate unions. they can ruin good corporations... like the one i work for.

Re: writers strike

if you need to see how great unions are, just check out the NYC teachers, and the US autop industry. bankrupt, losing jobs, and still demanding more pay. unions suck cock.

You rock Mike.

The strike has affected me personally, I work at a post house and things have slowed down to a crawl.

Re: writers strike

Mexican janitors have "labor disputes" here in San Diego all the time. It's odd seeing the same 50 foot white with red letters banner every day outside of your office at a super busy intersection reading "SHAME ON ________" (insert international commercial real estate firm name) Two people usually holding up the sign for nearly a year, with the occaisional picket line, for emphasis I suppose...

Re: writers strike

Well now we can look forward to a wonderfully entertaining year of reality TV, How about Survivor - Antarctica, followed by So you think you can Dance with your Dog(self explanatory), then Opposites Do Not Attract- American Anti-Idol (this is where all the try-hard wannabe weirdo contenders for American Idol compete to see who has the worst singing voice).

Crease Wars (Housewives compete to see who can iron the straightest most crease-free shirt).

Twisted Tweezers (Failed supermodels duel against each other in plucking facial hair the quickest).

Anyone got any brighter ideas??

Re: writers strike

why do think the writers striked at this time??? To give the Presidential election a chance??? Comedic writers are the source of most of this country's pessism and cynasim. All for a laugh.
