apparently news reports said that after her speech she got in her suv and stood up through the sunroof to waive at people etc, then some guy got close and shot her and then blew himself up

Deeply sad by this news, what a brave woman who was trying todo everything she can for her country, she comes from a very rich familly with a familly fortune estimated of 1 billion dollars, she could have had the best life any where in the world but she preffered to return to her country and fight for freedom against that dictator Musharaf.

In Pakistan , they should eliminate the northern region, the tribes region 100% in favour of Al Qaeda and the Talibans, they assasinated Benazir so that the country plunges more into chaos and civil war so that they can take over the country, very sad.

-i don't care about bush. nor do i really care about his views of foreign dignitaries. he was wrong on putin, and probably wrong on musharraf too. so you erroneously accusing me of something outside the scope of reality is laughable, if not concerning. -i have no idea how you tie this to republicans 'looking bad'. and given that you know i'm not a republican as a very fact, but dispensing with it nonetheless, is equally asinine. -i honestly don't blame musharaff for not going back to pakistan. why the hell would he do that? assuming he did in fact murder bhutto, why would any murderer willingly turn himself in? if he didn't, then why subject yourself to a third-rate judicial system? i don't even know what the standard is for issuing arrest warrants are in pakistan, but i would imagine there would be something more than tenuous hunches to do so (but i could be wrong?). I'm also not of the impression that musharraf was not only acting president of pakistan at the time, but also the acting security chief for protective details. could obama do that in this country? why even provide a security detail at all?

as said above, the arrest warrant was issued because he didn't provide enough security and his resistance to answer prosecutor's questions. i didn't see anywhere that he was accused of murder, and, unless there is some connection made between him and the bhutto's assassin, (there is none, that i've found?), not providing enough security (how the hell is that a crime again?) seems completely distant form that of murder itself.
