the one in berlin? i remember hearing a couple years ago that "this year will be the last year for the love parade." Guess they were wrong. I've always had a desire to check it out... what a great time it would be!

(Too bad berlin is left in a trash heap after its all done. Why can't people have some respect?)

Which one? Last years was supposed to be around half July but was cancelled due to budgetting reasons... It used to be a strike or something, so it was free.

Than it was labelled a 'festival' and they had to pay for everything - which immediately ended it.

Now the Fast Forward Dance Parade in Rotterdam, Holland is the biggest dance parade of Europe!!! And I was there... ;-)

I'll be there with a bunch of my friends. My roomate, Tim Patmont is spinning.

Even though there's no big names doesn't mean there's not going to be any good dj's. A lot of those DJ's are SF dj's and theres definitely talent out here.

Sure, no offence to the dj's playing at all! Some of the best parties I've ever had were with relatively unknown dj's :lol:

You can't underestimate an unknown dj... some of the best dj's are basically unknown. Don't get me wrong, a lot of the big names are big names for a reason but it's the unknown dj's who are pushing the envelope trying to get noticed and not just standing up there spinning records, which is what a lot of the big names seem to do.

The Love Parade in S.F. was great. Way better than I expected, with a really good turnout. There wasn't a lot of promotion IMO, but people came from all over the states for this.
