So myself and a couple of friends are going to be in Cancun over NYE. I'm trying to find details for club shows etc, but clubzone and the like have got nothing up about what is going on other than to say "event details will be posted soon".

If anyone can recommend a good club where we can get some decent prog/house/whatever, it would be greatly appreciated. any big dj's that might be there would be especially good...

No idea what is going on there, but go to The City. It is an awesome club....saw Sasha and Luke Fair there in 2004....was an amazing night

Not sure if you'll be there up to the 6th, but Dubfire is playing at Playa de Carmen. Which I believe is in the area. ;)

^^If I recall, they are around a hr apart. Would be worth renting a car and going....we rented one and went to Tulum for the day to see the ruins...was a nice drive....eye opening at the poverty there (you don't notice it in the touristy spots, but when you leave them its like another world)

Buy some shrooms and go to Chichen Itza. Seriously would google search Clubs in Cancun usually can find something, should be wild.

hey there i will be going to playa del carmen.

its around a half hour or 45 minute drive from cancun

you can get a taxi.

playa del carmen is a much better place to party on NYE than cancun.

in cancun you just get lame stuff.

I still dont know the lineup for this years NYE but i heard somthing about damian lazarus and superpitcher.

last year i wentt there and it got very good, superpitcher, michael mayers and damian lazarus oh yes and phillip from mandy. i guess they liked the place and are going back for more this year.

the party started from 10 pm 31st dic. endend 10 am 1 jan. then the after party at a beach club. 10 am until 9pm. 1st of jan.
