I know, that many of you might not like this genre of electronic music.

its electro rock. electro music with that rocker type of thing going on.

but i was asked if i could play this type of music at a party.

anybody know any cool groups or tracks i can download.?

something in the likes of lcd soundsystem, soulwax, justice, hot chip etc.

I would say most of Garbage albums are electronic rock, except for their latest. Also Suicide Sports Club´s album is somehow electronic rock.
