Hi, how the shows getting ripped? Do u record them directly from Internetradio in mp3 qualitity? Or do u record the shows from radio in wave quality.?? :?:

Quality of the rips will depend on the stream that is provided by the site, 32, 128 or maybe 160 if you're lucky. No internet radio station that i know of will give you the quality of DAB.

i usually record it straight to my HDD from the DAB reciever, i use a the timer in Wavelab if i am out, and i encode it to 192kbps mp3 using Lame 3.96.

even so, a dab broadcast is comparable to about a 160kbs mp3... sometimes less.

Kiss is actually transmitted at 128kbps on both DAB & Freeview but still sounds a whole lot better than it does on analogue radio.

I heard MS has a satellite up in space. Then it records every set on the radio. Then, MS pays the martians four billion helmilites for each set. At least thats what I heard.
