I just use DownloadHelper from FF that let's me download YT videos. Aparently I have just yesterday downloaded my 100th video. Yeah!

I use Total Video Converter. Pretty good file converter to go from FLV files to AVI files or whatever else you want it as.

Yeah i noticed this. Realplayer lets you download music streams as mp3s as well. I've used it on Nick Warren's Dave Seaman's and plenty of other websites. I haven't found one i doesn't work on yet.

you could also use [COLOR=DarkOrange][I][B][URL="http://youtubedownload.altervista.org/"]youtube downloader[/URL][/B][/I][/COLOR] very easy to use program just copy the url of the video and paste it into the box in the program.then as TomTom said you can use [COLOR=DarkOrange][I][B][URL="http://www.download.com/FLV-Player/3000-2139_4-10467081.html"]FLV Player[/URL][/B][/I][/COLOR] to watch the video or convert it to mpeg.

i stopped using the TVC for converting my youtube videos. I now solely use the Ultra Quicktime Converter and it works just wonderful.

and the plugins on FF are great for downloading the videos.

doesn't anyone use the Download Helper for getting YT videos from the net with FF? I can also use it for Google videos and just about any other FLV type videos. I recently got a 1 hour Richie Hawtin video from [url]www.Dancetrippin.tv[/url] and it's pretty sweet.
