I went to Stereo, and the sound system was AWESOME. But Im gonna have to say ARC/VINYL had the best sound system I have ever heard!! RIP :HolyShit: A very close second would be PULSE, in my home state of Rhode Island. That place had an amazing system.

P.S. the topic is best system in the USA, so STEREO doesnt count.

i say club space..they installed a new sound system for the music conference called dynacord (way to loud i thought), but i guess they changed it to a phazon system they call spazon.. any miami peeps here ? please fill me in i love how phazon systems or funktion one systems are banging but you can stand right by it and still be able to have a conversation

of course the phazon will get my nod because they were insanely amazing at Twilo. but you gotta understand though. the people who tweak and and make the sounds right to the dimensions of the room make the sound. YES the Phazon was TOPS at Twilo. hands down. after that i thought Arc had it. that was because the it was like Phazon2 or something. it does definitely have to do with the sound engineer or whatever they are called. lol. don't forget that. i do hear that he function1 system is even better than the Phazon though. i haven't heard it so i can't say if it is. the system at Crobar in NYC and Arc were good spots for the systems. they knew who to get in charge for that. :Bingo: :wink:

This obviously can't compare with Phazon, but now closed Spy Club in Cincinnati had an incredible system for the small space it used. I heard its going to reopen as a new club next month and the system is gonna be almost doubled in size...I can't wait!!!!!!! :Bingo:

by far THE best sound system that i have ever heard was at twilo...it was steve dash's (the creator of phazon) showcase system. steve smith and he went balls out when they created this system. there has never been another system that could even compare to the one that was built in that space.

i will say one thing though, phazon was built for trance and prog! house and techno sound good on them, but ive never heard a phazon system sound as good as when prog is coming out of those jbl's. the sounds that came out of those speakers with s&d and pvd were incredible.

twilo's system will never compare to any other. from what ive heard fabric's is tight...but having a shortness of breath bc the bass is that intense is something you dont witness in most clubs. and its cool that the stacks are still being used (in shelter) but those speakers, and that sytem are not built for that area.

you put that system back in a place...id even say roxy, youd have something VERY special. havin howells and someone else there while they maintain that system. BURRIDGE AND HOWELLS! arc had a very nice system. at times it sounded CRISP and others it sounded almost as bad as the vinyl system b4 it. GET THE TWO OF THEM IN THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been to Twilo when it was still around, Stereo and the Guvernment in Toronto and I'd say out of those Stereo has the best soundsytem. Its comfortably powerful. Almost perfect. The polar opposite would be some of the monster raves they have in Montreal. Some of the loudest music I've ever heard was at those parites. Standing next to one of those speakers rips your ears to shreads and gives you the inner ear itches the next day.

Twilo was f-ing ridiculous with their speakers, right now CroBar in NYC is hot but man o man SoundFactory in NYC before it shut down had one of the sickest speaker system I have ever heard.

Jenks I know we're talking US, but any discussion about sound cannot exclude Stereo in Montreal. Built by Angel Moreas and now maintained by [url=http://www.systemsbyshorty.com/index.htm]shorty[/url], I believe it remains the only big club sound system that is still analogue based.

Installed in a room designed around the system (the most perfect music box i tell ya), the sound in this honestly epic. You don't get the pulse in your chest like you do with digital systems, the music at Stereo is all-encompasing. It's like it's being poured all over you. And wherever you are in the room, it remains full.

The clincher is that [url=http://www.systemsbyshorty.com/index.htm]shorty[/url] has ensured that the booth sound is just as clean and pure as the main source. Therefore, the DJ is experiencing the same sound that the clubbers do, hence why some of the greatest sets in the world are spun on the Stereo decks (which are rumoured to be gold plated).

The first time I was at the club was also Sander's first gig there. When he came out of the booth at 10am, after a blazing 5hrs on the decks, he claimed the Stereo system to be the second best system in the world behind Sanky Soap's Phazon built system. Arc had the best sound in the US imo... Stereo has the best overall. Some of the clubs in Ibiza are no joke as well...

stereo in montreal def, has the best IMO also boa in Toronto is very good... As for u jenks we know there aren't any systems in the USA so don't worry about it..

I agree with a lot of people who said Arc and Twilo. Even though other clubs had/have phazon, you need the low ceiling in order to feel the fullness of that that nasty bass sound.

craziest sytem i ever heard "was" :cry: ...the edge orlando,fl. the whole place was like a giant subwoofer! as of recently i would have to say amphitheater in ybor city,fl...the place sux normally but saw three/sasha there and once it got crowded id was solid......
