Well people it's been a while since I've posted, hello to all whom remember me & all who don't know me, I'd just like your thoughts on my planned night out:what

I've been out clubbing once since our little one was born mar 2005 so I'm kind of scared by the whole thing. We've got tickets for the Warehouse Party in dec at Manchester (Sasha & Zabiela) should be a belter I know but as I said I'm a bit nervous & unsure whether to go or not. As I'm not getting any younger will I be out of place, has the clubbing scene changed much over the past couple of years?

What do you think I should do???????

Re: what do you think?

Erm Dawn, what exactly are you nervous about???? If you've been before you'll know what to expect surely?

You're never too old to to have fun I say, and you should have fun at this night, go for it!

Re: what do you think?

wb dawn long time no see etc ;)

all i can say is i,m 31 ( not that old really ) but i,ve been in clubs where i'd be as well to be a grandad and my honest opinion is that i,ve had some great nights @ these clubs, everyone is there for the music so no one really gives a shit about how old u r or what u look like or whatever coz @ the end of the day u have one thing in common with everyone else in there....ur there for the music :)

if u dont go u will regret it, take a bit of advice ;)

Re: what do you think?

I'd never had any comments til Sasha@Sankeys some cheeky fucker said "I bet this isn't your scene lads" ... we gave him the "been seeing Sasha when you were in short pants line" and then recounted some of the highlights over the pasts 10+ years - that shut him up ! I've been all around the UK and to Ibiza etc. age aint never been a problem and people aIways seem to strike up a rapport. If anything people respect you, knowing that you like and know your music.

Re: what do you think?

Hi dawn...long time no see. We missed you. :D

Don't get caught up in the age thing. Now that I'm in the same boat as you with a young'n at home (and same age ;) ), I know the feelings you're going through. I think having a little one at home has made me feel old and out of place at a club mentally when I go out, but notice I said mentally meaning it's mainly in my head.

The good thing about our scene is that many of us are out their for the love of the music and age makes no difference. Sure there are always those little brats who are out for the scene and have attitude, but they'd be judging you whether it's on age, looks, your moves, etc. etc. Just forget about em and have a good time. That warehouse party looks like a freakin' blast! Pics or stfu! ;)

Re: what do you think?

i think when you stop having fun at clubs it's time to quit, regardless of how old you are.

Re: what do you think?

Well you guys after all that support I HAVE TO GO.

I can relate to what you're saying birthday pal;) you kinda get tied up in the whole family stuff. With all the sleepless nights & all the other stuff that comes with it all you want to do at the end of the day is sleep!

F---k it I deserve a night away.

Cheers folks:p

Now I've got to go through the whole dilemma of what to wear (typical female:lol:)

Re: what do you think?

Go and have a wonderful time!! :DMy attitude is that if you still want to go, you're still young enough !!! It woud be natural to feel nervous after not going out for so long, but by the time the night rolls around that nervousness will be excitement!! :D

Re: what do you think?

You will have a great time I am sure. Age means nothing really...it's how you feel. As others have mentioned as long as you are having fun it doesn't matter how old you are :)
