Hi. Long time reader, first time poster.

I found this in a fitness forum.

A guy, 22, wants to have sex with a girl who's 16. I'm the dad of a 1 year old daughter. I am worried about her enough as it is, but I cant think of how much I'd worry about this if this was my daughter. I'm angry about this guy doing this, am I right to be angry? What would you do if your daughter was in this situation?

16 and 22 are pretty major age and, in most cases, maturity differences. Even if it happens to be legal in your area, I think it's not hard to see that seducing some 16 year old kid shows that you lack honor and integrity.

it might not be the most ethical thing to do, but the fact is that 16 is legal. even if she was dating her age a 16 year old guy can do just as much damage to her as a 22 year old guy can.

That's gross....I'm sorry, whether it is legal in some places or not, having sex with a 16 yr old when you are 22 is wrong. I know age shouldn't matter all that much, but she is still in high school..that isn't right imo

6 years isn't that big a difference, but just from a maturity standpoint, you grow a lot in those 6 years. would kind of bother me.

whilst I fully understand your point - thats not a valid argument - cos you can leave school with qulaifications at 16 in the uk. (15 sometimes) and go into a full time job, pay taxes etc etc.

She may have woken up and realized girls don't need to get an education to be a housewife.
