^^I don't have it that bad...It's just a bit overwhelming learning a new position..I started like 4 weeks ago...I sell insurance..All kinds of insurance...All different brands, all different computer systems...a lot to learn, that's all.

I guess my "fuck this job" statement was a general one meaning that I wish I was not at work and somewhere else.

^ ^ That job does sound like it sucks. No offense. Why don't you go get a job that you'll enjoy? If you work hard enough, the rewards are immense. I've been with my present job for 18 months now and still love it like the first day.

I just started working in motor insurance dude and i know exactly how you feel.. Loads of paperwork, loads of shit to learn and stressful..

Totally not the job for me.. I have given up on finding a job im interested in. Just gonna get some money together and go away.

^^You know exactly what I'm talking about then. My boss pretty much threw me into the fire, and is expecting me to learn all of this shit with minimal help...It's tough.

I'm always shocked when admitting that I agree with Beanz, but uh why don't you get a job you enjoy? I too have been with my company for about 20 months and I enjoy it as much as I did on the first day...So go to work with a smile but keep your options open, keep interviewing, create a backup plan... ;)

I get paid to sit in front of a computer screen in a cubicle. It is sweet. Much better then mowing yards, baking pizzas and doing chores for the neighbors when I was teenager. I do hate working with old people that don't know how to turn on a computer and ask me to move heavy stuff for them...

The things I love don't pay very well...I wish I had a job that I loved, but survival mode kicks in and I took a job that would pay well so I could pay my bills without drowning in them. Still trying to decide what I really want to do for a career.

You know, Im also in the Insurance industry. Excess and Surplus Lines. I've been with my current company since 1998. Moved from various dept's...

I dont have much responsibility, but this place pays well. Im comfortable with the people I work with and we get along great (which really helps). The boss's are cool too. My dept is pretty young and uhhh full of life I guess; for lack of a better statement.
