Woke up today around 5:32 AM to catch a sunrise in the morning at Mt. Hood. Got some amazing shots.

It was freezing up there. It was truly magical when the sun broke over the hill side I had my headphones on and just wanted to scream it was such a rush of energy. The light just cracked all over the mountain and here I was queued up perfectly with the music.

Not a glamor shot ... but it was my moment in fame.

Good afternoon! Great pics. I was wondering what the structure in front of the mountain was in the first shot. It looked massive to me until the pic of you beside it.:p Nice way to wake up!
