Go I spent a lot more than that with the airfare and taxis last night. Granted the tix was only 15. You have to be there for the last hour and half. Just total mayhem.

lol I love how everyone is go for it! It's not that bad! But when Tiesto charges that for a show, it's that's ridiculous to charge that amount for an event!

$50 is the norm these days for most big events/DJ's it seems....sometimes you can go for $15/$20, but more and more often it is $50+, sad really

If he plays from midnight to 7AM it will be priceless! If he only plays for 3 hours then he'll be worth your $50. Save some $$$$$ by slamming down some drinks outside the club in the parking lot in front of the Capitol Records tower. I'd be there but I'm Europe. :( It will be the first time I miss an LA Diggers show since 1999

it wasn't like that when he played at the Mayan or Giant @ Vanguard. last year at the Mayan, I payed about $25. In March of this year for the Diamonds Tour, i payed about $30. tonight, it's $50. wtf? i'm kind of feeling the pinch.

my apologies if i'm sounding like a cheap bastard, but i've been frugal for a couple of years since the wife & I are trying to buy a home in the next few months. ahhh... decisions, decisions...

Hmm, I cant think of any regular club nights in London that charge ?25 entry whoever is playing. Fabric is one of the most expensive and thats only ?17 whoever is playing.

$50 for 7 hours of Digweed is still well worth it. Personally I would pay that for 2-3 hours. Not worth missing what always has the potential to be the one of the best nights u have been to. Prob wouldnt pay that for anyone else though tbh..

$50 is a lot, i've never paid more than $30 in the UK, that was as Andy says in Fabric. Usually Bedrock was $16 every month, best $16 you could ever spend imo.

Exactly, and if your music is important to you then it shouldnt be a problem going to cough up to see the dj you best percieve as having the ability and style to play that 'perfect set' that we are all constantly searching for.. I would play whole alot more than $50 if it could be somehow be guaranteed as one of the best sets I had ever heard..!

We got in to Diggers for $35 (not including service charges - pre-sale).

That said, Garnier's only $20 and Sasha with Spooky live is $25 (both sans service charges - pre-sale). They'll be playing in LA within the next couple of months too.

So, why IS Diggers more expensive? Not that he isn't worth it... mind.

You want to see the best, you pay the best price. IMO, I would pay anything to see Diggers when he comes around. I mean shit, I payed $175 to go to the Virgin Music Festival just to see Sasha and Digweed, Tenaglia and Deep Dish. Im goin to the NYC show, and Tix are only $35 after all fees. BUT!!! Im driving 3 hours each way to get there, and the cheapest room in the City for that night was $380. Even with 4 guys goin, its easily $160 per person just to get there.... Nevermind party favors! You do the math....... Id pay $50 anyday

lots of times goes by size of venue, capacity and what not, or if the promoter has booked the dj before.. amoung other factours.. maybe how the artist is getting to the venue, ie: if there is a flight share or something else involved

I thought he finished up around 7:45... just after he played Jondi and Spesh - We Are Connected. That's when the lights came on, so me and my mate left at that point (don't think my mate would have lasted any longer though, tbh). I hope he didn't finish at 9 because then I'd be gutted... Wonder what records I missed if that's the case?

sounds like an awesome time...ive seen sasha a few times at avalon and i think the most ive paid is $35 per ticket. but you have to remember the parking lot next to avalon is $20. the drink there are pricey too (its hollywood). i know ive dropped a couple hundred at a sasha gig last year(vip)...super rare but well worth it imo.

the most ive ever paid for a ticket was $80 and that was to see S&D for this past new years in LA. for the 6 hour set they pulled, id gladly pay double that any day.

i figure i download so many sets from them, i wouldnt mind spending $50 once or twice a year to see them live. support the music people!
