hmmm...Digweed doesn't strike me as a futuristic 3d rendered "beam-me-up=-scotty" type of website....

It needed an update...but I thought the "blurred" look fit him better...

We'll see how the interface pans out...
I'm gonna have to agree with ya! I think his last site suited him better. I think this site looks cool and has a cool little intro but his blurred look definitely fit him and his label better!!

Sorry I missed that thread... What were the complaints of his website about?

#199847Post 43 of 70
Sorry I missed that thread... What were the complaints of his website about?
well most of the complaints weren't on the design, but on the info that wer never updated. Tour dates which happened months ago and stuff like that.

OK, and some complaints were also aimed at the poor design of the site.

#199852Post 44 of 70

It looks like an intro of a shoot 'em up game or someting! Interesting2 ...

#200015Post 45 of 70

Dunno. I don't think the new design suits the humble profile of diggers ... Too flashy or something ...

#200017Post 46 of 70

Nice changes, really looks good :)

Digweeds new look site
Hi All

As some of you have noticed, JohnDigweed.com is getting a refit!

I'd like to thank Shealan for working on my website over the last 2 years.Work commitments have meant that he is unable to work on my site now,but I'd like to say thanks to him for bringing my site forward. The development of the new site is now starting to take shape with loads of features which I hope you will enjoy as well as taking my site to the next level. If there are any features you think we might not have thought of, then let us know! In the meantime you can register for updates and news on the launch of the site right now.

Thanks

John
Looks like the Weakest Link

#202095Post 48 of 70

I like his new logo... And yes it does look like the weakest link set.

#202113Post 49 of 70

new site coming soon...

it shines well..... I will hope 8)

#202114Post 50 of 70

I don't like the new logo at all... nice effort though!

#202122Post 51 of 70

Apparently it should be up and running by 2008.

:NotMe:
I don't like the new logo at all... nice effort though!
hi..well i think that new logo is more modern and abstract. Music change, mercuryserver change.

#202126Post 53 of 70

I like the new logo.. Looks pretty cool to me..

#202127Post 54 of 70

The flash looks promising...
The flash looks promising...
you right m8............

#202151Post 56 of 70

I think the logo is not so bad, but the spinning thing on the homepage is quite unnecessary.

I hope the new site's design is better done (layout-wise) and is somewhat more alive than the current home page.

#202180Post 57 of 70

I can't wait for it to be done!

#202473Post 58 of 70
Apparently it should be up and running by 2008.

Chem, I'd expect from you out of all people, that you'd be able to browse a couple of pages back and search if the topic had been posted here before.

#205404Post 62 of 70

looks nice to me... the intro animation looks like an adventure game or something, heh

kinda like that logo too

#205499Post 63 of 70

the new site is a definite improvement!

about the same time, as sasha might get some new tunes.

#205553Post 65 of 70

For the people with low reading abilities.

THE THREAD IS ALREADY UP AND RUNNING!
http://www.mercuryserver.com/viewtopic.php?t=37
Many people have posted their opinions on this one, so, do we really need a new thread??? :?

#205578Post 66 of 70

^^^^ Now that the two threads are joined, I feel like an idiot. :? but still, had the best intentions.

well, back to the site. At least it has the current tour dates already. But we shouldn't get too excited too soon and wait until something more shows up. The first animation means nothing, although it is quite nice.

#205589Post 67 of 70

i don't like it.

it makes it look like john digweed is a 14 year old kid.

he should've kept it plain and classy.

#205654Post 68 of 70

if the flash is done right then it could be promising

#205744Post 69 of 70

Not too pleased with the interface, but it's not that bad. I wonder if he'll update regularly.
