Well I knew that Bob won. Because I still follow skateboarding, as I feel that once you have been involved in something as brotherly as skateboarding, you never really quite get out of it.

And most of the people that will remember that fall...are probably all skaters who always remember knarly stuff like that. But for those that found out about it on CNN or their local news...they probably don't remember it now anyway...But that in itself has NOTHING to do with being an American.

And yes it is a real form of bonding, but unlike so many other sports where everyone hates the guy who is the best. In skating the guy that is the best, is the most loved and adored.
