The I-35W just went down during rush hour into the Mississippi...crazy :shock:

Pretty messed up.i heard one report about a guy falling 35 feet and walked away from the scene.been watching this on fox news for the past 30-45mins

Omg, that's crazy!

I remember when I was living in Toronto in 2005, one of the roads up near my place collapsed, nothing to this extent mind you (only a few people injured)....its crazy how things like that happen....you would never even think to expect the road to collapse like that.....

That is another reason they want to shut the Gardiner Expressway down in Toronto as it's already crumbling...its scary to think, but it's only a matter of time before that happens here...

R.I.P to those that lost their lives today :(

That's confirmed dead.

There are close to 30 unaccounted for... the 'recovery' mission has started this morning, meaning the numbers will rise throughout the day.

There are 30 or so vehicles submerged in the river under the bridge. They say it will take at least 2 years to fix and repair. Pretty crazy, this is a major artery of a freeway that connects the southern suburbs with downtown and the north. 140,000 cars a day now have to find a detour for the next 2 years.

Not to mention the major shipping uses of the Mississippi from the north.
