Re: Sets/CD good for passing out to !

Nobody has mentioned the classic of all classics.

Air - Moon Safari

I?m sure [you] will love it.

#263464Post 21 of 66

Jack Johnson - Brushfire Fairytales

#263467Post 22 of 66

yeah electric calm, especillaly the 2nd one can do it to you. Or GU 024 by Nick Warren.

Though, I find it's much easier to fall asleep listening to TV or movies - it's boring. Puts one to sleep in no time. And music's always interesting keeps you alerted.

Re: Sets/CD good for passing out to !

i avoid music when i go to sleep because every time i play a cd in that situation i want to finish it, cant help ... i like books the best personally ... that stuff is efficient ...

Re: Sets/CD good for passing out to !

Some proper handsintheair trance. There was this set that was great for dozing off too, had Skydive and loads of other classics; can't remember what it was now. Anyway listening to that through headphones when really tired was quite a weird experience.

Re: Sets/CD good for passing out to !

I love falling asleep to some of the more laid back, progressive break'ish sets by Digital Witchcraft.

Another personal fav is Global Underground 25 - Deep Dish (CD1). Such a groovy ride. Sets the mood nicely for dreamin'.

Re: Sets/CD good for passing out to !

Brian Eno 'Apollo' Someone has done a progressive bootleg of 'A Landing'. The original was also used as the end theme of Traffic. The CD is great though it may be worth seeing if it gets the 'retransfer' rerelease that his other CDs are getting.

Peter Gabriel 'Passion', 'Long Walk Home' Soundtracks to 'Last Temptation of Christ' and 'Rabbit Proof Fence'. Both mostly instrumental and both great.

Neil Young 'Dead Man' Instrumental guitar 'texture' soundtrack with bits of movie dialogue.

Vangelis 'Blade Runner' I'm sure this will have had a mention already, but I didn't read the whole thread!

KLF 'CHill Out' Not really music, but you'll wake up whistling Acker Bilk not knowing why.

cheers, RH
