YYYYEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

sssssssssssssaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssshhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

this CD is seriously amazing. My ears thank Sasha. I'm highly impressed with this CD and I didn't think I would be. HE'S SO CRAFTY!!!! Hats off. Love him. Still love him. Will always love him. He totally pulled way ahead of the race with this one.

#208884Post 86 of 117

Yep. He surely put the sugar on the creme. It's really a cool fucking sound he going for. DOPE! I could put that cd in a pipe and smoke it, it's so fucking dank.

#208894Post 87 of 117

Ok. So I finally got a hold of the CD and listened to it. AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN!!!

Listen if you want to go Sasha bashing, I'll be the first on on your doorstep with a six back of Heineken, a bat and Digweed - Live in beirut on cd.

There's is no way you can say this CD sucked. I absolutley hat ADD but He did an AWESOME job with this album. The first 5 tracks were sweet but from Spooky - Belong to the end this cd had me going.

#209045Post 88 of 117

wow finally downloaded this and now i see what all the hype is about 8)

spongle - dorset perception remix :Twilo:

That track gets it own special Twilo, fanfuckingtastic. That baseline just does something to me. :RockOn: And the Spanish guitar breakdown is pure class.

I also like:

spooky - belong remix---------------------------smooooooth the youngsters - smile---------------------------a little cheesy but still nice felix da housecat - watching cars go by---------solid

#209071Post 89 of 117

Well, 3 times thru the cd, and it's growing on me more and more. The 1st time I wasnt really over the moon about it, but the more I listen to it the more I want to. :Bingo: :RockOn:

#209106Post 90 of 117

Overall I was pretty impressed with the cd and the concept of mixing his own remixes. For me the there are a couple of tracks that take the shine of what is a good cd and they are the UNKLE tracks and In a State in particular. I don't know what it is about them but they have me reaching for the skip button on the remote :(

Re:: Involver

I?m all the way through Spooky?s Belong and I?m delighted... :twisted:

#218280Post 92 of 117

Re:: Involver

I think its a very good album!

I like Airdrawndagger very much too. I like it because its fucked up the "boring prog sounds".

Involver is a different way... Sasha plays World Music :D

My favourite track is Burma, I dont know why... :RockOn:

#218282Post 93 of 117

Re:: Involver

^^^same here, Burma is my fav from the album too :Bingo:

#218408Post 94 of 117

Just wanna say that this album is really good! Sasha rules but in a differnt way this days.

#218421Post 95 of 117

I really hated this album when I first got the promo but then I went to see him and bought it....I listen to it about every day now. Heavy rotation. Burma is definitely my favorite track as well. I didn't know lostep was philK and luke chable. :lol:

#218428Post 96 of 117

Oh, is it?... I didn't know either. :lol: Not that I really care... :lol: I don't like burma that much.

#218600Post 97 of 117

i love burma, that track is great. this album is excellent, it's perfect for chilling to. i can't wait for his sunset mix over clapham common...it should be something special.

#234179Post 98 of 117

Re:: Involver

totally different from add, but this cd is hot nonetheless. the first 90 seconds :shock: of it let you know its another masterpiece. burma is among the hottest tracks this year. and of course his remix of belong is top-notch. amazing bass line.

#234185Post 99 of 117

its brilliant. i still dont get whats so great about burma though, its a good (maybe great) track.. but the highlights for me were definately The Youngsters - Smile and BOTH unkle tracks 8)

#234349Post 100 of 117

its definetely a grower this album, get better with each listen........

his interpartion of PETTER is awesome and he's made In a state great again, after being overplayed 8)

#234409Post 101 of 117

i have 2 copies. woot. thanks soundrevolt !!!

#234493Post 102 of 117

i have to say that was one of the best mixes I have heard this year, once again Sasha is never lets down imo!

#234499Post 103 of 117

i bought that special edition pack thing with a card for each track.. seemed like a good idea at the time.. but its not exactly something you can take in your car. ltd edition packaging in drawer, involver in cd wallet :P

#234502Post 104 of 117

... it was weird. @ borders they had a 14 song track list ... got me stoked. when i picked it up only had 10. i spent 30 minutes getting help trying to square it away ... came out to be an error on their part.

bastids.

#234506Post 105 of 117

that synth motif in the petter track is gorgeous. i listened to it 5 times on my commute into work today. Can't get enough. :D

#234507Post 106 of 117

quit yer bitching up there :roll:

#234509Post 107 of 117

#235067Post 112 of 117

Re:: Involver

been listening to this tasty stuff for weeks and still feels fresh.. :RockOn: best $27 ive spent all year

#239586Post 113 of 117

Re:: Involver

Has to be said I think involver is awesome probably one of the bet mix albums I have, it is up there with GU25. I still haven't got bored of listening to it, infact it just keeps getting better, I bought the unmixed vinyl but unfortunately I just can't mix like Sasha.

#239587Post 114 of 117

edit: i wouldnt say GU25 is one of the best mix albums ever. but to each his own :Smiley:

#239639Post 115 of 117
edit: i wouldnt say GU25 is one of the best mix albums ever. but to each his own :Smiley:
It's only because they had played out those tracks so much beforehand. Else it would have been really good. Just my opinion. But the Aftermixes were really good. So all in all you have 4 disk which are pretty good.

#239997Post 116 of 117

finally listened the whole CD ... actually, from beginning till lostep - burma, I love this mix. Actually, I start liking Sasha more and more since I saw him live twice (in 1 month time :P :wink:) and the Involver CD.

#240001Post 117 of 117
i have 2 copies. woot. thanks soundrevolt !!!
Was the comment about burma in the reviews yours? Agreed 100%. Nermal (or his brother, I don't know which one wrote teh review) must be out of his head. Actually the only track he liked on the album was the one I skip :ROFLMAO: And for each track and each part of track he mentions I have totally oposite feelings.
