Hey y'all,

I'm using Traktor with the X-Session pro. It work pretty good. I definitely recommend Traktor for the casual DJ, or DJ with no turntables. I personally have a pair of 1210's. But purchasing tracks for US$1.99 from beatport is great for budget minded bedroom DJ's.

I programmed by X-Session with a conventional set-up. If you have x-session controller, here's the .tks file

Hi nestee, I just got myself an x-session pro to interface with ableton live 7. I'm having a couple of problems and would really appreciate it if you could help:

1. When I map any of the buttons on my x-session pro, I have to press them TWICE to trigger the effect. For example, if I map a cue button on my x-session pro (the ones with a picture of a headphone) to a cue button on ableton live, I have to press it twice before the cue button is activated. Any idea how I can fix this?

2. How do I load a .tks file?

1. look for toggle settings. If it' s set to toggle disable that.
2. get into preferences/midi mapping, click load, select the tks, clcik apply done.

Try [url]www.djtechtools.com[/url] forum, you may find interesting and useful stuff there for any midi controller (or Midi Enabled Mixer) available.

PS: If you wanna sell your 1210s, just drop me a pm to discuss about it, as I am in search of buying 2x Turntables this week and I will consider every offer. Best possible candidates for me, are the SL1210 MK5G. Anyway, let me know...

dude the links are broke. i have 0% experience of mapping midi's in traktor. someone can help me? i need to map a x session pro and a korg padkontrol...xD it would be nice if u help me guys, bye!

Just started eyeing the X-Session Pro because of its size, usb powered, and traditional/conventional layout. Glad to read some positive reviews on here. Price is sweet too.
