I know when I saw it was Lindstrom and Thomas it was going to be good, but damn! Pure funky space disko goodness!
I don't see anyone topping this in the neat future.

Re: Best Essential Mix of the year so far
mr. howells' is at the top of my list. pure class from him, as always.
Re: Best Essential Mix of the year so far
Howells followed by Lindstrom. I was excited that one of my best friend's tracks was dropped on the Lindstrom E-Mix (Centrific's track on Drop Bass).

Howells started out strong no doubt, but after the half way point it started to lose direction. But he did bring it back in the last 30 or so mins.
Lindstrom & Thomas were just spot on from start to finish.
Re: Best Essential Mix of the year so far
I did enjoy last weeks mix i must admit.
Also loved Goldie, Danny Howells and Richie Hawtin & One&One.
Re: Best Essential Mix of the year so far

sorry but imo ur far wrong, lindstrom and thomas essential mix was utter crap.
funk guitars + cheesy 60-70's funk vocals = boring
Re: Best Essential Mix of the year so far
I'm going to have to go with DJ Pierre. It's one of the few I've listened to more than once. One&One and Prydz were also good.
Re: Best Essential Mix of the year so far
Phil Kieran!!! was awesome.

Re: Best Essential Mix of the year so far
Have not listened to alot either. But i would have to go to Howells, Gabriel and Radio Slave. i have not got the lindstrom one yet. so when i finish my other download mixes i will get it.
Re: Best Essential Mix of the year so far
I had to fast forward through about the first half hour of D.Ramirez' mix, then I got bored and went to something more banging.
I still thing the Seamus Haji mix is the best. Though I'm not too much into this whole minimal, tech house thing like so many of you are these days.
Phil Kieran!!! was awesome.
have to agree with herre here.. ive listened to this one at least 10 times by now (hav eit in my car as well).
have not given linstrom & whatever mix a good run through yet but will certainly due so in the next week.
Re: Best Essential Mix of the year so far
Lindstrom & Thomas Mix was complete sh*t.
Radio Slave's Mix is by far the best. It was fresh and original.
But on the whole it's been a sh*te year for EMs. Digweed's shows have been way better with more interesting guest mixes.
Re: Best Essential Mix of the year so far
