Well, i usually get sets from slsk, or when i'm given a cd, this is not splitted in tracks.

last night a friend gave me his set, wich is divided in tracks, so i'd like to rip it into a single mp3 file.

i tried some programs before and didn't like them, i'd like to know what software can i use to do the job.

thanks guys :)

Re: Making 1 big mp3 from an audio cd?

I use EAC (exact audio copy). You can use the unregistered version for free and can register it (with a postcard and stamp, costs nearly nothing) to get even more options. You can rip tracks on CD to an mp3 file (using the external Encoder of your choice) or to a WAV-file. The program has a built in online database search which recognizes even the most exotic CD's of any kind of genre. You can rip a CD to a 1 track MP3 or WAV and you get a cuesheet with it automatically (tracks from the database added if found). Best is, if you rip a mixed CD you will hear no break between the tracks because EAC predetects the gasps very good. Here is the link to the website where you can download it: http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/
