Re: johndigweed.com

I think Flash is a great... if it's used right and serves its purpose. In this case it's lame - no function whatsoever...

Even C. Lawrence site is way better...

says it all!

:Honest:
the future: http://www.csszengarden.com/
That is superb!! You're right, CSS design really is the future - I work as a web developer for a university and I was just brushing up on my CSS today and getting very impressed with what can be done - now I've seen this I'm amazed!!

no kidding. it look pretty awful. i'm a designer by trade, and it is a HUGE step backwards. the previous site needed some refinement with the site navigation but it was close. the previous site also had a nice color palette to build on. i'm surprised that JD went in this direction. why does HE, of all people, need a free site design? he has had a ton of design work done for Bedrock, so you would think that JD would know the value of spending a little on design.

Re: johndigweed.com

I'm just glad to hear the kiss 100 mixes in high quality at work. My only problem is how to use Flash by pausing the stream, fast forwarding, rewinding, etc. Is it possible to do the following in Flash or am I just missing something?

Re: johndigweed.com
why does HE, of all people, need a free site design?
I very much doubt it was free! I bet it cost him a bomb - it's cheesy but sophistocated programming, it wouldn't be easy to do.

#258322Post 62 of 65

i havent read the rest of this thread, but wanted to drop my thoughts. the functioning site looks great. i hope he decides to drop some more pictures in there, there's already some great ones that landed as my desktop.

#258324Post 63 of 65
