and when will these companies learn there is no earthly way to prevent someone from copying digital content? digital rights management just paints a big target for some nerd with too much time on his hands to haxz0r the code.

ohh i'm sure whoever created the DRM for HD-DVD will be looking for someone to sue. that guy who figured out that just holding down the SHIFT key would bypass one of the DRMs on audio cds got sued i think...

seems to be hex .. but not sure why some of the letters are lowercase and other aren't...
also, grouping two hex digits together is common so each of the two characters represent a byte. Maybe an ascii or utf-8 encoded text? Or maybe colors of something..

These cracks are a godsend for people like me who want to legitimately watch these movies (that we own) under linux. The faster the format is cracked the better it is for the format in the format wars anyway. Means more of us will adopt it :lol:
