the thing that I like the best about luke fair sets is that you never know what you will be hearing. sure, there will be a standard sound incorporated, but he always seems to use sounds that are so fresh and new that you can't help but get down to them.

i think its a little blah in the beginning (about 35 mins) then it finally begins.. not as impressed with this one like i was obsessed with the spring promo..

i dont remember the summer mix being posted here, i have a hard time thinking that i would not have that in my collection if it was hosted here... as for this Fall Promo i really enjoyed it, Luke has a great ear for great tunes as shown in his Spring promo and the fall promo is full of them as well... in everything i seen and have of Luke Fair, he has never disappointed me this man is top notc... IMO this Fall promo shows the world another side to his versatility as a dj... cheers :Cheerz:

For some reason I wasn't really feeling the spring promo. But I'm digging this so far.

Found this a pretty boring set. I think I'm moving on from progressive into other genres tho, so it didn't really suprise me.

luke fair definitly has his own sound and style - every promo mix he sends out can't sound exactly the same. but i hope to god your wrong when you say sasha has influenced his sound. i liked mr. fair's sound so much the way it was, sasha can only ruin it for him. :roll:

last time i saw luke fair (recently) he told me he has an ep forthcoming on Bedrock with a new edit of [u][b]ultraviolet[/u][/b] as well as 3 other brand new tracks. Ultraviolet makes it worth the money right there - very much looking forward to this!

I think the track selection for this mix is a reflection of the good music that is out there right now and of the time of year it is. The spring promo was tailor made for Miami, hence the happy vibe and all out party beats on there. Now that we?re heading out of the summer it?s time to get deeper and nastier and that?s what I think Luke?s brought to the decks here.

Comparing either promo to the live Moonpark mix is definitely not warranted. The promos are mixes / production and are so much about the mixing and flow. Luke live is all about the dance floor and giving the clubbers the best opportunity to get their groove on.

I've been really impressed with both of Fair's last promos. They're both different, but stand out well.

I think it's just about on the borderline for 'credible' trance. More like this please.

my buddy is opening for luke in portland on the 23rd. judging by luke's recent form, shouldnt be a dissapointment :D

I adored the spring promo but it would have been criminal for someone as versatile as LF to put out another promo in the same vein. Really enjoying the fall one - the direction he's taking these days promises big things in the (not so distant) future.
