if we wanted to get out we should have done it yesterday it takes so long to get out of the city cnow. Plus the 2pm curfu is in effect we are locked in and ready Im in a 2 story house and we also have a canoe wish me luck
honestly man... good luck. i was in new orleans for gilbert (i think that was the one)way back when and it took an unexpected turn. i hope the same goes for you man. this is a nasty hurricane.

It was a big cock tease nothing happened it HARDLY even rained. The wind was quite fun almost felt like CHI town. I even went to work today and I was the only one there for awhile til people got there. I'm glad I didn't evacuate would havve taken us for ever to get any where but on the other had I would have rather bailed out.

parts of my apartment complex are under 4-5 feet of water. some cars are completely under, only windows can be seen on some. its in the part of the complex we just moved from 2 and a half months ago. we'd be fucked. feel bad for my old neighbors. i tried to take some pics but the digi cam we have is very crappy and doesnt take good nighttime pictures. looks like the water built up in the parking lot out front is receding. hope it goes away, but weather reports say it will continue raining off and on til tommorrow evening. we're in the middle of the city for fucks sake. you dont think you're gonna be affected til it's at your front door. :(
