haha. much better week for me. [B]Finally. [/B] I swear when it rains it pours. The secret project is coming along well. Soon folks, very soon. I have to say I am very pleased with the preliminary results. :p

Also, I am starting the TGIF thread on Thursday nights now. This is so I can comply with international standards. Let's face it, the board has grown to an international level, and not recently but years ago. It is only fair I treat it for what it is worth. This is truly a wonderful community to be part of. ;)

YES! I love the international compliance idea!

I always miss these threads because they usually hit on or after Friday night for me.

Now if we can only get some recognition on the banners. I hate staring at winter banners when I'm trying to enjoy summer, and I hate staring at summer banners when I'm suffering through winter (they do look hot though).

glad the weekend is here. not much planned for this weekend - might go and check out the "Best New Bands" showcase tonight done by a local paper. other than that, relaxing, drinking beer, etc etc. 8)

Yeah. I haven't gone in to see the exhibit but I've happened to be in town in a couple of places where that thing has been. I was actually in Portland last Friday but just to catch a flight out. I had worked in Boise on Wednesday, hopped on over to Enterprise on Thursday and then made the trek to Portland overnight. I can now say that I've seen that whole view along the Columbia. It's nice hitting up that highway at over 100 mph in the middle of the night.

i drive along marine drive every day going to work, great view down the river of Mt Hood 8)

The hell I was gonna waste half a day flying out of some BFE airport just to get to Portland or SLC then get home at night. As for Boise, dude... that's a total party town. The downtown is sweet for visiting but yeah, I'd never live there. No beaches.

It's like that classic [SIZE=-1]henry weinhards[/SIZE] commercial where the two guys are in their parkas and a couple chicks coming walking by on the beach. they toss the beach ball and the thing blows aways in the pissing rain. haha.

it's a classic NW beer. Personally I enjoy Rogue a lot more. They seem to know what they are doing and also where not bought out by Coors or whatever. They still keep it real.

yeah i like rogue too. weinhards and widmer i am not generally a big fan of... but the local brewpubs like amnesia, lucky labrador, new old lompoc, rogue are the places to go anyway. the new full sail ltd is fucking excellent too.

^^^ i use to drink that stuff like it was water. I drank over 16 bottles one night when I was younger, and can not even look at it without having my stomie flip. fucking gin as well. I drank a whole 1/5 in about 8 hours and never have been sicker. of course at 7 in the morning i had a toking contest with a buddy of mine out of a 3 footer. if you have ever watched a train going at 100 miles per hour and just de-rail ... that was me for the next two days.
