This festival is just 7 miles from my house, and when it was first announced I was definitely going to go. Then I actually studied the line-up and realised 95% of it are artists and dj's I think are awful. Underworld getting added to the line up has made it better, but I think I'll still avoid it. I mean, who the hell are Hot Chip??????

It's a week before I go on my holiday so I'll save my cash methinks

Err yes, they're very good. Rent a copy of the "Everything, everything" DVD for a preview and trust me, you'd want to go out and buy a copy for keeps.

Caught them once in Melbourne and I'll catch them again anytime.

^ No I'm not on crack, I just think dj's such as Villalobos, Tiga, Luciano etc are not my style at all, I do not like the music they play.

Hot Chip - I would say I know enough about dance music, yet I've never heard of them - have been told they are an indie-type band. Not for me afraid.

Plus I've done the festival thing in the pas, and my experience is that when S&D are on, the whole tent gets rammed, you can't dance, and ?40+ for that really isn't my idea of value for money.

I will change my mind if Hernan/Seaman/Warren get added to the bill though...............

Your claim to be up on dance music news is frankly laughable. Hot Chip's second album being nominated for the Mercury Music Prize and them being all over everything for the past 12 months.

Plus, the comment 'I've never heard of Hot Chip, I've never heard any of their music, but they're not for me' - Completely idiotic.

Fair enough if some of the djs don't do it for you... but judging by your comments about Hot Chip, you've probably never heard of most of them, but have decided that they're not for you.
