I know there is his Tyrant mix from 2000 (probably one of the best EM of all time) but why has Lee never done a solo mix?

And how would it do this?

Re: Why has Burridge never done an Essential Mix?

that is a very good point.

i would be intrigued to know why he has never done a solo mix.

Re: Why has Burridge never done an Essential Mix?

I think we should opena book for how many tracks he can get into 2 hours

lets see if he can beat freddy fresh!

Re: Burridge I agree with Kinky - it would be a very dull two hours.

I saw him warming up for Hernan. Nearly put me to sleep. Yawn.

Re: Why has Burridge never done an Essential Mix?

i like Lee Burridge... doesnt seem like he has been doing much (well presumably he's been dj'ing a lot) on the production or mix cd front. his last mix cd for global underground was awesome though.

Re: Why has Burridge never done an Essential Mix?

Not enough air horns and sirens in his mixes

#848506Post 14 of 29

Re: Why has Burridge never done an Essential Mix?

Maybe because you're not ready yet for his music. It's for educated music lovers, you know.

you mean his nubreed mix which is 6 years old?

i do agree that it seems that burridge hasnt been doing much lately... last year wasnt too good for him.. all of his released mixes were boring as shit. seems like he is alot like sander kleinenberg, good as fuck 2000-2003, now hes just boring =\

two of burridges best sets: Live at Thomsen, Iceland 2001 (5 hour mix) @ BPM party 02-21-2003 (4.5 hour mix)

Re: Why has Burridge never done an Essential Mix?

For Burridge He had that set floating around about six months ago that was pretty solid, if you dig the techier sounds. He's not gonna overwhelm with bangin tracks. Still the tracks he plays have flavor, as for Sander I am as mystified as the next person

Re: Why has Burridge never done an Essential Mix?

I have a feeling you'll see an Essential Mix from him sometime in the second half of the year...

no i think he means his 24/7 cd. to be honest with you, he is very techy/ minimal and it isnt to everyones taste. personally i think the guy rocks and its even better when he teams up with craig richards.

Re: Why has Burridge never done an Essential Mix?

I saw Lee B2B with James Zab about 18 months ago, he was very good, better for being there with James imo.

oh. totally forgot about that one... probably because i listened to it once and trashed it =\

#848821Post 27 of 29

Re: Why has Burridge never done an Essential Mix?

yeah i meant the 24/7. not as good as howells, but i like the mix a lot overall. i think i've only listened to the nubreed one one time. as said by others, the tyrant stuff is better... the tyrant 2cd is one of my all time faves.

Re: Why has Burridge never done an Essential Mix?

I just signed on to this program and your question caught my eye because I asked myself the same thing, according to my sources, he will be playing soon. But until then if anyone knows where I could find his back2back set with Bill Patrick in Miami WMC at the Sunday School for Degenrates party it would be much appreciated...
