Just played my tape of this from last night - its fucking awesome, and even outdo's his superb Balance CD (no mean feat there !) and his summer Kiss mix from last year. My version is only from the 128kbs DAB signal - can't wait fro Red1 to put up his quality version. The track at 45-mins blew me away (Hernan played ended an early '07 Metro show with it) - for superb groove based house Luke is way ahead of the game.

i did not like his balance cd to be honest.. it was a bit to housey for me.. i am looking forward to the guest mix though...hoe it is better than the balance cd. i prefered his bedrock comp over the balance comp.. but thats just my opinion..

whats the track at 17 min mark. its an old track.. i have it at my other house on vinyl colleting dust. must dig it out. does anyone know the title cause i have forgotten it. In fact i should really bring all my top tunes back out. I think the track must be at least 5 years old. any info on it would be good.thanks

have not heard the balance cd yet but every set i have ever heard from him has always been of pure quality. lucky me he will be here next month! best dj out there for quite a few years running in my own humble opinion.

Burridge Balance 12 .... yuk ! I'm not fan, he always seems to have poor track selection and has been very uninspiring live. There's only one man for the job - Martin Garcia.

yea whenever theres a thread up about this kiss mix this early im usully excitied. iwas up till like 4 or 5am pst looking on here for it but it never came up so i got it from another place red your hella slow, hehe... listened to it once hungover in bed, and passed out.... usually a good sign that i like it, im digging it right now.

Decent mix, I will give it another whirl for sure. Like pickle though, I'm not the biggest fan of Luke. His mixes seem to get comments like 'best ever' and 'amazing' but I have found some of them quite bland............

lrn i have family things to do on the sunday morning so they come first, sorry about that but i cant do 6 things @ the same time lol, sometimes i can get away with it and get them up fastish but other times i cant untill i,ve got my other stuff done

Seems like opinions are mixed - I always find that Luke's sets sound fresh ... he's not dark or progressive, but his grooved out house sound stands him apart from many other DJ's.

Yeah I agree with Simonr. It's always a refreshing change to listen to Luke's sets. For me he walks a very fine line between holding an amazing groove and going too far into over-the-top, extravagant, maybe even cheesy house?and I like it! And for the same reason, I can see why some people here can't stand it.

solid. really enjoyed this kiss set as well. he has a strange way of builds, but it is effective and it works. some really nice tracks in there.
