Wow - this is really terrible. I'm watching on Fox & CNN now. This'll go down as one of the worse school shootings ever. I'm waiting to hear the reasons why. They said there had been bomb threats, so I wonder if they're related.

Happened here as well already and politicians and concerned citizens blamed video games like Counterstrike for it. :roll: Somebody has no friends, sucks at school, his parents beat the crap out of him, he does drugs but yeah the video games are to blame. They even started calling 1st person shooters officially "Killer games" here after that. I am only sorry for all the people and their families who actually enjoyed their lifes in opposite to the assasinator who decided to get out of it all with a bang.

there's more than meets the eye here. they've had several bomb threats recently too, evidently. i'm sure they aren't releasing the details until they have an accurate story. too much speculation could cause a huge outrage/scare.

apparently he chained the doors to the hall shut and then into classrooms and shot randomly. 20 year old Asian, possible student blah blah. had a 9mm and a 22 with multiple clips. what i can't figure out is how he shot people at a dorm at 7am and then went across campus and two hours later shoots again....

the bomb threats may be related, but may well not...students often call in bomb threats during final exams to have them delayed. sounds rediculous, but it happens pretty often.

There's no doubt the blame for this callous act lays firmly at the feet of the guy who pulled the trigger. But as I stated earlier, 19 shootings like this in 10 years, man, how can you not start to ask questions?

not to argue, but more to devil advocate it..

should we start banning cars because ppl run each other down and get into accidents? do we sue food stores for making america disgustingly obese? do we sue global manufacturing and energy producers b/c die of skin cancer? or more at home to the clubbing community, cigarettes and booze? those deaths are exponetially higher.

im just saying, its really easy to scapegoat and point fingers. like when a black kid gets a light sentence because of his upbringing?

there is right and wrong, and people lost that idea a long time ago.....

There's sick fucks everywhere, we have shootings almost every week, but nothing on the scale of some crazed lunatic wanting to take down half a school.

I agree, banning guns won't completely rid us of this sort of thing, but surely it will go some way to help preventing it.

I see what your saying but it's wrong. Guns are desgined to murder people. You shouldn't allow the general population to have guns because some of the general population are dangerous and possibily insane.
