some years ago channel 4 did a documentary about the lads from the global underground series, does anybody here know the name of that documentary and is it available to buy.. thanks in advance

The documentary on Channel 4 was taken from the Tranmission 001 dvd, so thats what you need to check out.

I've been talking about that video on here for years. BY far my favorite film on dance music. You should be able to pick it up at amazon.com, as they always have those people that sell them for $9.00 used, but still in the original plastic. Meaning they are brand new.

I don't know if they are up to three yet, but #2 wasn't much except a bunch of ten minute interviews with the dj's that they were releasing at the time.

are you the real loafer ? like the guy who remixed non verbal language for hope? if so do you have a myspace mate?.... nice choon definitely! i just bought it! :)

The documentary, when first broadcast on C4, was actually titled 'Getting Away With It'

I have it on VHS somewhere, that's how old it is!

YES it's called Getting Away with It. And it is the MAIN feature on the GU Transmission 001 DVD. There is also included the entire interviews with Sasha, Dave Seaman and a section of Danny Tenaglia at Love Parade.

For the record, the channel 4 showing of this did not include danny tenaglia from the love parade. it did however include a segment on nick warren in budapest, and anthony pappa in (i think) a romanian (or the like) club

anyone happen to know the tune thats playing over the dave seaman segment??? im sure it isnt included on the GU Buenos Aires CD's and had to just give up hope on finding out its name back in the day?!!??!?!

yes it does. it has Danny T at Love parade in the EXTRAS of the DVD. And yes there is Nick Warren, but they don't show him for long, there is some funny stuff with Pappa though.

what hash is saying is that part was not included on the channel 4 airing of this documentary.

I have the first Transmissions on DVD. That went on sale for $10 when it was released here in the US.

And I've been checking out all over the net and there is no mention of the 3rd DVD from GU.
