I beg to differ.

Although kevin upholds his image as a "techno" pioneer with most of his mix cds he rarely plays techno when he spins a gig. (at least in Detroit) Most times I have heard him spin it is more upbeat funky housey sound.

The only time I have heard him play techno was when he and Acquaviva tagged at a monday night event in a tiny bar on michigan ave. they started out with some deep house and by 3am they were blastin some really heavy techno beats. really fun night, needless to say.

i'm only going by the couple sets ive heard from him. i have some video of him playing at some festival from a couple months ago. i forget the date and venue though.
