I was wondering if any of you are or know of people I can contact in Detroit who are promoters or work for a promotion company or maybe even club owners. If you don't know anyone, maybe particular websites that may be helpful. I have searched online, but I would rather go by recommendation. I don't know if anyone on here will even know, but it's worth a try.

3ibb3 - No it's for Chris...

and dante_k, (not that I even need to bother entertaining your comment) Chris doesn't just play trance...he plays anything from prog/house/tech-trance/trance ... and Detroit actually does know what trance is ... they have one club Blue that two of Chris' friends are residents at who have trance events all the time....but I am wondering what else is out there?

I am guessing no one know so any of the mods out there, feel free to close this thread.

Paxhau pretty much runs detroit. Try detroitclubscene.com there are a lot of promoters on here & influx on here works for paxahau.

they guys seem to be seriously pushing out the techno/minimal sound so i dont think that would be a good place to start but it wont hurt to try to get some info out of them ;)
