tuesday night - landed in miami and met up with karen. vandalized SoBe together. drank a bottle of vodka. ate dinner. jibs showed up. showed up to pawn shop on time (1 hour early) and saw jimmy van m opening for a 6 hour set of digweed. chilled there with balanc3, sakio, supaz, nubreed, etc.

wednesday - slept 2 hours... couldn't sleep. got a call from dante_k and chilled with him all day. visited steve graham, supermadcrazyflychick (sp?), and friends. checked out Jump Start party but left when we saw Quivver wasn't there. somehow got ourselves admitted into a studio three stories over Washington & Lincoln and all dante could think to do was give him his promo cd. went to proton party, met hafid and more ms'ers. slept ~6 hours.

thursday - met up with dante again and drank more. went to remixhotel. met more people I don't remember. left to go drinking. left to go to dirtybird party and listened to von stroke tear the shit out of the party. ran into subdude. met up with my buddy & riseandshine who shared a cab from the airport. hung with Balanc3 some more, dealt with his shit collapsing around us, then went to the booka shade get physical party and ran into remoh when I walked in. heard the best set of the conference get played from Jesse Rose after Booka Shade finished. Claud VonStroke's set here tied for second best set of the conf. Booka Shade was awesome, but Jesse definitely showed them up. Buddy and I left, made it to the beach, met up with Balanc3 again, watched the sun rise. Didn't sleep this night, but that's all I remember.

friday-watched crazy strippers press titties together outside my room as a line of third-graders walked by (staring). lucky third graders and their field trips. went to m_nus remix hotel for one of the better parties of the conference. listened to gaiser, troy pierce, magda, and hawtin tear it up. tiefschwarz not so much. met up with dante, karen, riseandshine, subdude, jay813, miguel, and others. starting to get hard to remember when I met who at this point. I think I met neoee sometime during this day... maybe a different one though. slept 3 hours. went to hallucination and listened to Radioslave, Three, and met up with subdude and more friends from kc. left for a sunrise. no sleep.

saturday-starting to get hard to remember what I did. had lunch with jay813. fuck that waiter. not much went on this day so my buddy and I stumbled around SoBe and checked more beach plaza parties. walked in on some weird fucking party with the dj booth on one side of the party, a naked chick posing laying on the ground with her legs spread wide open getting photographed by some photographer in the middle of the party, and the entrace on the other end of the party. wtf did i walk into? they wouldn't let us past the naked chick to the dj booth so we left. continued to walk around SoBe until we went to Priv'e at Opium to see Chus and Ceballos. WORST PARTY EVER. Trendiest club ever, most packed, chairs cost $300+ to sit, nothing but hot fake titties and huge muscles in the club. ended up paying something like $100 and an hour of soliciting the doorman to get both of us in the party because we had already spent $50 and didn't want to give up. party sucked. went back to the room and got 4 hours of sleep.

sunday-woke and went to sunday school. one of the best parties of the conf. people were throwing sunscreen, shirts, records, cds, oranges (and beaning people in the head), etc into the crowd. Adultnapper tore the place up! Give him tie for second best set of the conf with vonstroke's. Steve Bug, Scarlet Etienne, and Magda also played shit up right. ran into neoee again. stumbled on an unlisted mark farina party with some dude opening who played records, sang over the records, and played guitar over them. it was cool until his records started to suck. checked the djsinbox/pangea party and the tampahousemusic party later that night. slept a full night.

monday-woke and got a rental car and drove halfway through the florida keys... maybe 2.5 hours of driving away from our hotel, then 2.5 hours back. stopped at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and realized it sucked so we just kept driving. we made it to about Grassy Key... stopped on Craig Key to jump in the water. while we were there I noticed some chick laying off the road on her back showing her vag off to the highway. drove back to miami. lesson learned from the keys: most people don't seem to want to rebuild from hurricanes. buildings were either very nice or extremely shitty. not worth the drive.

tuesday-came home. and i've been sick ever since. actually went to the doctor today (thursday)

I know I met way more people but I don't remember much of the trip... sorry guys. sorry to anybody that had to deal with me, but I had a blast hanging with everyone.
