because i,m comparing it to his past em's and sorry to say it didnt live up to scratch or maybe is me being picky but although his sound is a sound that only howells can sound like i just dont think its up to my current tastes, maybe i,m being selfish but i didnt think it was up to much, will have another listen later though

last hour was solid... as a whole it was a pretty good mix, but doesnt come close to the eclectic one he did a few years back. having been kinda hoping for another like that i'd say im a bit disappointed, but as far as essential mixes go, it wasnae bad at all.

Yeah he's more of a five (5) hour guy.

Been fuckin' tellin' people I know to listen to him for ages and no fucker ever listens.

Howells & Masiello are the equivalent to Zabiela & Lisle.

Between the four we've had easily the best Essential Mixes of recent years, Lisle will get one soon I'm positive (no HIV kits required).

danny howells is the shizzle dizzle. i am so glad i caught him when his nu breed came out and was able to catch him at crobar in chicago back in 2000, and also in chi town for his 24:7 release and meet him at the Virgin Megastore on Michigan. Great DJ and guy...one of my alltime top 5 fav's

^^ no i just heard of him because mtv told me so. actually britney spears recommended him before she shaved her head. that is why i listen to him. oh and i have never owned any of his discs, especially the noctural frequencies discs, they suck. if we are playing a pissing contest on his early material you left out his jackpot recordings disc btw.

also he didnt tour the midwest, chicago until 2000 for his nubreed disc. oct 25, 2000 btw. it was a wednesday, which meant it was fetish night at crobar, i passed on getting whipped and tied up at the back bar. tall paul and his dumb fuckin ass got top billing that night and came on before danny and played the sarah remix of silence for the 10,000th time before danny came on and killed it.
