I'm staying in a little town called Baan right up from Landstuhl. Its pretty sweet. I've got a pretty sweet house also. the landlords own a restaurant across the street. They seem really cool. I should be here for hopefully three years. the only problem is that I will be getting deployed quite a bit, but thats cool to, whatever.

I was born in Landstuhl near Kaiserslautern but don't live there anymore since 1990 so I can't help you much with clubs to go at or general hints in that area sadly...but if I remember it right I already told you this in a previous PM. I was looking at the cocoon site and I noticed a Guy Gerber show,and a Tiefschwarz show later on this next month. Is ther a way to get tickets in advanced? If not, is it wise to get there early, and how much do these shows usually cost?

Dunno if you can make reservations, but if you wanna see Tiefschwartz, be on time: I went to their gig here at Petrol a few weeks ago and the place was packed.

I plan to go to see Guy Gerber..have seen Tiefschwarz too often already so I will skip this gig most probably but I am a bitch and like to change my mind so who knows. :lol:

You can pre-order tickets for live acts but you can't preorder tickets for a regular club night..at least I never saw an option. So yes it would be wise to be there early. Normally the club isn't packed but sometimes it is (I saw Holden and Deep Dish last year in an half empty Cocoon :what ) if you come especially for this event to Frankfurt, let's meet somewhere and drive there together early. PM me for cell phone number exchange if you want to go.
