USA Drinking/Clubing laws
Re: USA Drinking/Clubing laws
no. 21 to drink. some places have 18 to get in, but i doubt it for miami. but shit, if anyone belived that pickle is over 21, i guess you can sell anything.
Re: USA Drinking/Clubing laws

Theyr're pretty strict. Unless you have a real id which states your over 21 that looks some what like you, then dont bother.
Re: USA Drinking/Clubing laws
What sightless said. 21 to drink in this country.
Re: USA Drinking/Clubing laws
I had two differnet false IDs when i first came to the states many moons ago - worked like a charm.
Re: USA Drinking/Clubing laws
unbelievable, 21! i bet none of you guys waited that long but don't you think it is way too strict? in good ol' germany you can buy booze at the tender age of 16, ok hard liquor when you're 18 but there's a good chance noone asks for your ID anyway.
Re: USA Drinking/Clubing laws
Yeah...I thought so. When I get over there its gonna be with a suitcase full of fake ID's...a must!

Re: USA Drinking/Clubing laws

Re: USA Drinking/Clubing laws

Re: USA Drinking/Clubing laws
I don't look that small. but I do look young, I admit.
Re: USA Drinking/Clubing laws
Well buying beer can be easy here (in certain locations) If you look old enough, some wont ask. Unless they're super proud of being grocery clerks.
But when it comes to bars / clubs, different story. Sometimes you have to show your id twice. Before getting in and at the venue's bar, bullshit! gotta take out my wallet again!!!:what
Re: USA Drinking/Clubing laws
here in miami your gonna get asked to show a legal US id card .. if from out of the country they'll be looking for your passport
Re: USA Drinking/Clubing laws
You definitely have to be 21 to get into clubs in Miami. Some have a minimum age for guys like 23 or 25.
As for drinking, it was 18 years old to drink like 20 something years ago, but they raised it to 21 which it is now. I recall they raised the minimum drinking age to 21 because of all the drunk related car wrecks.

Be warned that WMC is a huge deal for club owners in Miami and they don't like to be fucked with during that time...last thing they need is to run into trouble in that week of all weeks. Expect to deal with security people at the front doors who screen and card pretty much wherever you go.
Re: USA Drinking/Clubing laws

Yes, although the individual states are able to lower the minimum age for the sale of alcohol, the federal government will cut off millions in transportation funding for any state which has a drinking age lower than 21 due to alcohol related accidents. That's my understanding anyhow.
Re: USA Drinking/Clubing laws
To party in clubs at WMC you need ID no matter what. I even coasted with some DJ's last year and still got ID'd. We also tried to get some chicks in with a few bills and that didnt even work either. Good luck
Re: USA Drinking/Clubing laws
that law it`s absurd.. i can belive you still having it.. "land of the free".. pffffff..

For real? I am going to have to bring my passport everywhere I go when at WMC? That sucks...why can't I use my own drivers license? I don't feel comfortable bringing my passport with me into the clubs
Re: USA Drinking/Clubing laws
^^^^ if is a canada id maybe you can get thru ... but i've seen it happened ..
