20-20 investigation by John Stossel entitled "Stupid in America" highlighting some of the flaws with the education system in the United States.

The story started out when identical tests were given to high school students in New Jersey and in Belgium. The Belgian kids cleaned the American kids' clocks. The Belgian kids called the American students "stupid", which gave the piece its name.

schools are actually suffering because of bush's no child left behind bullshit. i used to work in a school district (computer guy)... i was told by many administrators that it works to favor rich familys :(

that's just part of the equation. the bigger problem is government running the schools.

A very interesting film got me real pissed of, like a Michael Moore film... You folks in the USA should really take some action...rather than standing in the side lines.

That woman near the end saying that competition is not for schools kids or people would have been in a court room accused of being a communist 30 years ago...

I think that thats partly the problem with the death of communism there is no competition to capitalism and so capitalism is failing...

There are so many ridiculous examples where things are just not right...

If I was a parent in the US I would emigrate to Europe!
