Re: Digweed's broadcasting his Space 2006 set
Sheesh...I got seven PM's alone with that question. The release was labelled this way and I just copied the info ffs. I don't breakfast with John and have no clue which part from which set it is. I corrected the filename on the download link on the site but the ID3 tag will still be wrong (or not, only Lord knows). It's good and new so I personally leave it at that. Happy discussions though and bring this thread to page 430 with absurd conspiration theories and faked or half-true info. ;)
Sorry mate, just confused since everyone's talking about parts 1, 2 and 3 all over the place, it's all good ;)

Listening to the set now ... love the way he warms up. Can't believe he started with 20 people on the floor.

Re: Digweed's broadcasting his Space 2006 set

Another Digweed set that you lot spunk over but I found to be average. Starts off well, but final 30 minutes don't do much for me. I dunno, maybe it sounds wicked on a good sound system.

On a different note, people were amazed he started off with 20 people dancing. In 1999 I was at Es Paradis club in Ibiza at a Colours night. Digweed was scheduled to play, and when he came on there were about 10 people on the floor. Within an hour that was up to 100, by the end of the night you couldn't move. Really opened my eyes on how to 'build' a crowd. This was the summer of Xpander, Science Dept, Morel etc it was absolute quality. To top it all off I even got a photo of me and Digweed at the bar before he went on!

Re: Digweed's broadcasting his Space 2006 set

With no one in the background! I was up on the balcony and I remember saying to my mate 'Shit, that's Digweed there at the bar ON HIS OWN'. When we got down there he was chatting to some bald guy (must be his agent or something because I ALWAYS used to see that bald guy in the booth at Bedrock in years to come). Anyway I got the bald guy to take the photo - me, digweed and my mate Gary. I'll dig it out and see if I can scan it to MS
