Re: T-Shirt print shops / websites
there are plenty of local printers around you in any town. Just look up screenprinters in the yellow pages. Most will do the kind of work you need.
In a matter of a couple weeks...hopefully...I'll be running my own screenprinting shop. But it'll take a while to get good at it. Then I'll be getting in touch with you Kamal. I'd love to do some MS shirts. I'm going to learn all the new techniques, such as the raised ink, and flocking techniques...which makes the lettering look and feel like suede.

Re: T-Shirt print shops / websites
customink.com i think. it's either ink or inc either way this place seems pretty cool. you can scan a design and have them print it too. the interface you use to design is pretty user friendly. I'd check them out
Re: T-Shirt print shops / websites

Re: T-Shirt print shops / websites

Re: T-Shirt print shops / websites
we're asking for t-shirt printing info, not pre-order requests
Re: T-Shirt print shops / websites
well, i've come into a situation where a friend of mine is taking over this sign shop that has a full screenprinting shop in the back, full on stuff. The only thing I have to pay for is materials as I use them.
Hey I like my Loggins fan club, we watch caddyshack every week and air guitar to his song. LOL.
Re: T-Shirt print shops / websites
the thing I'm not sure about screen printing is the durability of the paint after multiple washes
Re: T-Shirt print shops / websites
Ask for the different techniques they use for printing (sorry, clueless about the English terms for those) and durability guarantees then. Sell the salesguy ;)
If with screen printing you mean that they "iron" the logo to the shirt: forget about it: the quality sucks and de logo will go bad if you don't wash it in cold water.
Re: T-Shirt print shops / websites
no screen printing is they make a "negative" of the image and run color rollers at diff speeds over the "negative on one side and the T is on the other side..... its all up to the type of paint they use how durable it is

This will give you more of idea of what screenprinting is. There are even videos up on youtube to show you how to do it.
When screenprinting...the main thing to make sure you do...is to dry the inks fully. It is not paint. Paint dries regularly. Plastisol, what is traditionally used in screenprinting does not dry, you can leave it out in the open for weeks and it will not dry. It has to be heat cured. And you do that either with a line dryer which heats up the ink to around 300 degrees. Which then cures it and makes it almost like rubber on the shirt.
If you get yourself in with a printer out of your city...you're looking for trouble, as you can't take a look at their quality and you won't know what you're getting until it's too late.
Stay local.
